Instead of long explanations about the origin of this work, I quote the foreword:
"Dreams are ephemeral. Usually. One night Domenico Scarlatti appeared to me in a dream and played me four sonatas that are said to come from the lost manuscripts . I woke up and every single note was clearly in my memory. Scarlatti appeared three more times. He asked me to write down the sonatas. I asked him what name as a composer I should put on top of it. "Yours, of course. You write this music, not I. "When the sheet music was still there after a month, I decided to write it down. I hope for more visits."
